Simon {Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann} punchedoutdestiny Simon is adventerous, determined, hotblooded, and courageous. His mech is actually powered by his burning spirit, something he seems able to create in great quantity. He and Allenby were friends from the first, sharing a mutual love of fighting and hatred of their enslavement by the Daligig, and she cast her vote for him as a Councilor. (Hey, he was President where he came from!) Even though he's full of burning spirit like she is, he can also keep a cooler head; he, along with Hit Girl, stopped Allenby from making a rage-induced charge at the Daligig when Howard was killed. Now that they're the only two residents of the Susono Inn left, Allenby worries about him getting sent back to the pods.

Starfire {Teen Titans} starbolts Starfire is a fantastic friend and a great fighter. Allenby has always loved the girl's enthusiasm for life, fighting, and friendship, and sees her as one of the good things about living on Stacy... even if her choices of food and light entertainment are highly questionable. She worries about her emotional state, though, knowing that Starfire has lost a lot of friends and understanding what a crappy feeling it is.

Billy Cranston {Mighty Morphin Power Rangers} morphitudinous As the head of Engineering, Billy is Allenby's boss and possibly the only authority figure she really acknowledges--which is mainly because he's pretty casual about the position, and she considers him more "the best engineer on the ship" than "the engineer officially in charge." He's not much like her in personality--sensitive and thoughtful and not much for shouting, but she likes that. He's kind of like Rain in that way.

Hit Girl / Mindy MacReady {Kick-Ass} hit-girl-mindy A cynical warrior of a twelve-year-old, much more cynical and hardbitten than Allenby in fact. Allenby doesn't always agree with her, but she appreciates Hit Girl's very down-to-earth perspective and willingness to fight to the end, even if she has some misgivings about someone that young doing so. After Howard's death, Hit Girl helped to keep Allenby from launching herself at the Daligig in vengeance (something that would have almost certainly resulted in Punishment or death), so she figures she owes her one for that. (Also, being tough enough to take Allenby down? Major points.)

Maria {Xenogear} 17thangel Another fighting kid. Maria's good at conspiracy theory, having apparently lived through some creepy stuff long before arriving on Stacy (such as nutrient mash made out of actual people). She's also a good mecha pilot, although her Seibzehn seems to be tied more directly to her than even most Gundams. Though she seems a little like a survivalist loner, she also seems to enjoy helping out around the ship and Allenby thinks she's a good kid.

DROPPED

Kanoe Zouichi {Biomega} zouichi Zouichi was Allenby's best friend for many months, starting when they were both still in Starfighter Command and cemented when she asked to move into the Susono Inn. Zouichi at once understood the joy and understanding that could come through fighting while tempering it with sensible pragmatism. He was supportive and loyal to all of his oddball collection of friends, something Allenby greatly appreciated. They fought alongside each other numerous times and shared a healthy paranoia (and resentment) of the Daligig and Stacy. She was incredibly pissed off when he was repodded in the leadup to the mutiny. Shame she didn't get to punch Yavek in the face for that one.

Howard Bassem {Gone} iselldrugstothecommunity To be honest, Allenby probably wouldn't have become friends with Howard if he hadn't also been Zouichi's friend and a roomate. But he was, so they did, and Allenby doesn't regret that. Even if she and Howard had almost nothing in common--hotblooded, cheerful fighter and a cynical, survialist medic--Allenby thought he was an interesting guy, and they did share was a disdain and distrust for authority. She was devastated and outraged by his death on a mission and absolutely believes it was a deliberate set-up by the Daligig to get all of the away team killed.

Setsuna F. Seiei Gundam 00 jesus-is-gundam Within five minutes of speaking to him, Allenby punched him in the jaw. She considers him to have been a complete ass and wow, who died and made him the universal arbiter of what was and was not "really" a Gundam? Jerk. However, he was also one of the only people who tried to actually communicate with the Ohm rather than buying into the idea that they were all just evil space bugs, something that she also questions. He also said something to her once that still bothers her: you'll change, and you won't be able to go back. She's determined to make him wrong about that.
